SECTOR
Construction | Robotics | Mobility

Working at heights below three metres remains one of the most common yet overlooked challenges across construction, maintenance, and facilities management. Traditional solutions such as ladders and mobile towers often create unnecessary risks, increase physical strain, and slow productivity.

As businesses place greater emphasis on safety, efficiency, and sustainability, the demand for smarter, more adaptable access equipment has never been greater.

CS Platforms is redefining this space with the Ceilingsurf, a revolutionary self-propelled, modular mobile work platform designed to make low-level working safer, faster, and more efficient. By dramatically reducing setup time, minimising logistical challenges, and lowering accident risk, Ceilingsurf is setting a new benchmark for work at heights below three metres.

We partnered with CS Platforms to develop a suite of high-impact visual assets that bring this innovation to life. Through photorealistic renders, animation, compelling visual storytelling, and the exploration of multiple CMF (Colour, Material and Finish) variants, we created a visual language that communicates the product's unique value, highlights its versatility, and clearly demonstrates the benefits it delivers to users. Explore the project below to discover how strategic visualisation helped showcase the future of low-level access equipment.

Making innovation visible, understandable,
and impossible to ignore.

For products like Ceilingsurf, where functionality, mobility, and safety are deeply interconnected, visualisation is critical to communicating how the system truly works in practice — allowing stakeholders to understand value, experience usability, and connect with the product instantly.

Precision visuals that build confidence
in every detail.

High-quality visualisation is essential because it removes ambiguity, allowing complex products like Ceilingsurf to be understood instantly and accurately. It ensures every detail - from engineering intent to user experience is communicated with clarity, giving stakeholders confidence in both the product and its performance.

Work at Height 4x Faster

Complete ceiling and overhead tasks up to 4x faster than traditional ladders and scaffolding, with less setup time and significantly

improved productivity.

Robotics-driven platforms reshaping

how work gets done.

Platforms like Ceilingsurf are set to transform industries by enabling safer, more efficient ways of working at scale. This shift drives higher productivity and a fundamental rethink of how access, mobility, and efficiency are delivered across built environments.

Designing adaptable products through CMF (Colour, Material and Finish), accessories, and user-focused variation.

CMF and modular design tailored for every user and environment.

The exploration of CMF (Colour, Material and Finish), alongside tailored accessories and modular add-ons, enables products to be shaped for distinctly different user groups - from high-visibility safety configurations for industrial operators to lightweight, streamlined variants for fast-paced maintenance teams. By adapting finishes, textures, and functional attachments such as tool trays, guard rails, and mobility enhancements, each version can be aligned with specific operational needs and environments.

CMF exploration that transforms usability into an immediate product connection.

This approach goes beyond visual variation - it strengthens positioning, broadens market reach, and increases perceived value by ensuring each audience experiences a product that feels purpose-built, relevant, and intuitively designed for their workflow.

Interactive insight, in every angle.

Adding XR interactivity to your product enhances how users explore and understand it, enabling intuitive navigation from every angle in an immersive environment. Users gain a clearer, more memorable grasp of design and functionality, while interactive hotspots highlight key features and reveal important details in context. The result is a more engaging, informative experience that improves comprehension and builds user confidence.

Bringing controlled, lifelike motion to digital products through rigging systems.

In CAD (Computer Aided Design), bone rigging is a core technique used to create precise, controllable motion within a 3D model. By building an internal skeletal structure, we can define how each component behaves, allowing complex systems to move, rotate, and interact with accuracy and realism. This approach enables fine-tuned control over actions and sequences, making it possible to simulate real-world functionality and demonstrate product behaviour with clarity and intent.

Designing movement with accuracy,

structure, and intent.

Articulate movement with accuracy down to individual components. By defining hierarchical relationships between bones, complex actions can be orchestrated seamlessly, ensuring that motion feels both intentional and physically believable. This level of precision is essential when communicating functional mechanisms, helping audiences understand not just how a product looks, but how it performs in real-world conditions.

Shaping Vision Through Visualisation.

Although Ceilingsurf had established proof-of-concepts, they lacked a defined design language and a cohesive vision of how the final product would look, feel, and operate. Through high-resolution 3D visualisation, we helped shape their product vision, define clear design intent, and establish a consistent visual language. By clearly communicating functionality and articulating the value proposition, we enabled CS Platforms to present a compelling, confident narrative—better positioning them to engage potential customers, stakeholders, and investors.
